The job description
About the Role
What if your expertise in macroeconomics and financial markets could directly shape how AI reasons about the global economy? We're looking for Economic Analysts to review, evaluate, and improve AI-generated economic content — ensuring it reflects accurate data interpretation, sound analytical reasoning, and real-world market dynamics.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for finance and economics professionals who want to apply their domain expertise to cutting-edge AI development. No AI background required — just a sharp analytical mind and deep familiarity with how markets and economies work.
What You'll Do
- Analyze macroeconomic datasets, market movements, and policy developments to evaluate AI-generated outputs
- Compare narrative economic reports against quantitative indicators to assess accuracy and coherence
- Identify key drivers behind economic and market outcomes — and flag where AI reasoning falls short
- Produce structured summaries of trends, risks, and scenario considerations
- Evaluate central bank communications, regulatory commentary, and macro model outputs
- Maintain consistency and rigor across recurring analytical tasks within structured workflows
Who You Are
- Background in economics, finance, financial research, or related fields
- Strong ability to interpret macroeconomic data and financial market dynamics
- Confident analytical writer — you can distill complex information into clear, structured insights
- Self-directed and comfortable working independently within defined frameworks
- Detail-oriented with a systematic, methodical approach to analytical tasks
- No prior AI or tech experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience evaluating central bank communications, monetary policy, or regulatory actions
- Familiarity with macro modeling workflows or quantitative research environments
- Background in sell-side research, asset management, economic policy, or academia
- Exposure to structured data evaluation or quality assessment processes
Why Join Us
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs and AI organizations
- Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
- Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work
- Apply your domain expertise to problems that directly influence how AI understands the global economy
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
