Every AI training platform, graded
Mercor, micro1, DataAnnotation, and Alignerr lead the 18 AI training platforms worth knowing. All of them pay you to write, rate and check AI answers; they differ in who gets in, how steady the work is and how reliably they pay.

Typical top rate is the median top rate on each platform's open listings (shown with 5+ priced listings); “Platform says” is its own advertised range. Under each open-jobs count: how many of today's listings went up in the last 4 weeks. Boards that don't show post dates say so.
Are AI training platforms hiring right now?
Yes, and steadily. The chart counts today's open listings by the week each was posted, across the 8 platforms whose job boards show a post date. Listings that closed are gone from the data, so the older weeks undercount.

How to read these grades
- Getting in
- How hard the application is. “Hard to get in” isn't bad, it usually means expert pay, but expect an interview or a tough test.
- Steady work
- Whether people who get accepted actually get tasks week to week. Gaps between projects are normal, so the middle grades are plain text. Green means most people report regular tasks; red (“Work is rare”) means long dry spells are the norm.
- Payouts
- Whether money arrives on the stated schedule. Green means it does; amber means delays are common; red is kept for repeated, recent reports of missing pay.
- India
- “Yes” means the platform hires in India. “Some projects” means only some projects or invited workers. “Not confirmed” means it hires in many countries but we couldn't confirm India, so check before you apply.
