The job description
About the Role
What if your years of business analysis experience could directly shape how AI understands strategy, finance, and decision-making at an enterprise level? We're looking for experienced Business Analysts to lead and mentor a team of analysts creating high-quality, business-focused content that trains cutting-edge AI models.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just deep business expertise, strong leadership instincts, and a commitment to analytical excellence.
What You'll Do
- Manage and mentor a team of Business Analysts and Content Specialists producing AI training content
- Allocate tasks, oversee workflows, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery across the team
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and continuously refine processes to improve team output
- Provide structured performance feedback, coaching, and professional development to team members
- Serve as the primary stakeholder contact, delivering regular project updates and insights
- Guide the creation of case studies, business scenarios, and structured analytical content spanning finance, policy, e-commerce, and more
Who You Are
- Experienced business professional with 3–6 years in business analysis, consulting, or a domain-focused role
- Proven team leader with 2+ years managing or mentoring analysts or specialists
- Sharp analytical thinker who can evaluate the quality and logical soundness of business content
- Clear, confident communicator — written and verbal — with the ability to give precise, constructive feedback
- Creative problem-solver who can think laterally across complex business scenarios
- Self-directed and reliable when working independently in a remote environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
- No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Master's degree or advanced qualification in a business or quantitative discipline
- Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or content evaluation workflows
- Background in case study writing, academic research, or structured business content creation
- Familiarity with AI tools or large language models as an end user
Why Join Us
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading AI research labs
- Fully remote and flexible — structure your hours around your life
- Freelance autonomy with the substance of meaningful, high-impact work
- Gain first-hand exposure to how advanced AI models are built and trained
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
