The job description

Mercor is recruiting US-based loan underwriters and loan officers for an academic research study run by researchers at Stanford University.

Who can take part

  • You work (or have recently worked) as a loan underwriter or loan officer
  • You have at least 3–4 years of experience in lending — more experience is a plus

What you'll be asked to do

  • Complete 1–2 online surveys, each about one hour long
  • Answer questions drawing on your professional experience with loans

Engagement details

  • Format: Online surveys
  • Time commitment: About 1 hour per survey (1–2 surveys in total)
  • Compensation: $70 per completed survey, paid once on completion
  • Start: A small pilot group goes first, followed by a larger study

Why participate

  • Contribute to Stanford research using your lending expertise
  • Short and fully remote
