The job description
About the Role
What if your understanding of macroeconomic forces, policy shifts, and global markets could directly shape how AI reasons about the world's economy? We're looking for Economic Analysts to evaluate and improve AI-generated economic content — ensuring it's accurate, analytically rigorous, and grounded in real-world market dynamics.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just a strong command of economics and a sharp eye for analytical quality.
What You'll Do
- Interpret macroeconomic indicators, data releases, and policy updates to assess AI-generated economic analysis
- Identify economic forces influencing specific sectors, regions, or asset classes and evaluate whether AI captures them accurately
- Summarize and evaluate AI-generated reports, market commentary, and quantitative trend analysis
- Flag errors in economic reasoning, outdated data references, or misleading interpretations
- Support structured evaluation tasks across a wide range of economic content
- Present clear, well-reasoned feedback using provided evaluation frameworks
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Academic or professional background in economics, finance, or a related field
- Strong analytical writing skills — you can communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely
- Comfortable reviewing large volumes of structured economic material
- Naturally detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluation
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- No prior AI or tech experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with country-specific, regional, or sector-level economic analysis
- Familiarity with central bank communications, fiscal policy frameworks, or financial markets
- Background in economic research, forecasting, or policy analysis
- Exposure to quantitative methods or data interpretation
Why Join Us
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs
- Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
- Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work
- Make a direct impact on how AI understands and communicates global economic trends
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
