Your tasks: Apply your paralegal expertise to help train next-generation AI systems on legal work
micro1 is engaging experienced paralegals to contribute to a client’s AI training initiative. Your legal expertise is what matters here — no prior AI experience required.
We’re looking for paralegals who have carried real responsibility: large document reviews, research that attorneys relied on, filings where an error would have mattered. The work rewards precision and judgment about what needs escalating.
What you’ll do
- Work through realistic legal tasks — document review, research, citation verification, document preparation — and explain the reasoning behind your decisions.
- Apply detailed protocols consistently and flag the cases the rules don’t cover.
- Identify where a task is ambiguous or where a question would need an attorney’s judgment.
- Review work from other contributors for accuracy and consistency.
- Deliver assigned work on schedule and at the required quality level.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of hands-on paralegal experience in litigation, corporate, or regulatory practice.
- Direct experience with document review, legal research, and citation verification.
- Paralegal certificate, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional background.
- Comfortable working across multiple documents at once and spotting inconsistencies between them.
- Strong written and verbal English.
- Experience with legal data projects, e-discovery platforms, or structured review protocols is a plus.
- AI or LLM evaluation experience is a plus, but not required.
How the selection process works
- Apply and complete the screening questions
- Complete the AI interview for this role — it’s how your expertise gets in front of the client
- Profile review
- Onboarding — our Talent Ops team will get you set up
