The job description
About the Role
What if your coding instincts could directly improve the AI tools developers rely on every day? We're looking for Code Review Specialists to evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and readability — helping make AI a more reliable coding partner for everyone.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone who can read and reason about code. Whether you're a self-taught developer, a hobbyist coder, or a seasoned engineer, your eye for quality is what matters here.
What You'll Do
- Review AI-generated code in Python, JavaScript, or other languages for correctness and quality
- Identify bugs, logical errors, edge cases, and inefficiencies
- Rate code quality using structured evaluation rubrics
- Suggest clear, actionable improvements and explain your reasoning
- Work across a variety of programming challenges spanning multiple difficulty levels
- Complete assignments independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Able to read and understand code in at least one programming language
- Logical thinker with a natural eye for spotting what's wrong — or what could be better
- Clear written communicator who can explain technical concepts in plain terms
- Detail-oriented and consistent in your evaluations
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- No computer science degree or professional software experience required
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with multiple programming languages
- Experience with debugging, testing, or code review in personal or professional projects
- Background in software development, computer science, or related fields
- Prior experience with AI tools or developer workflows
Why Join Us
- Work on real AI projects alongside leading research labs
- Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
- Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work
- Contribute to AI development that has a tangible impact on how developers use AI tools every day
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
