The job description

About the Role

We're looking for Physics Masters graduates and students to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. Your deep understanding of physics will directly shape how AI reasons through complex scientific problems — contributing to some of the most advanced AI research happening today.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed to fit around your existing schedule, whether you're finishing your degree, working, or researching.

What You'll Do

  • Design challenging, rigorous physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more
  • Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with well-reasoned logic at undergraduate-to-Masters level
  • Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, depth of reasoning, and quality
  • Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks and improve AI performance on advanced physics tasks
  • Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field
  • Strong problem-solving skills across advanced physics domains
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly in writing
  • Comfortable providing structured, critical feedback
  • No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or academic tutoring
  • Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts
  • Background in research or technical writing

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance perks: high autonomy, variety, and global collaboration
  • Direct, meaningful impact on how AI understands and reasons through physics
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract renewals
