The job description

micro1 is engaging Photographers to support a customer’s initiative focused on evaluating and enhancing visual data quality. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This engagement focuses on detailed evaluation and comparison of original photographs against AI-generated images, requiring both creative insight and technical precision.

Scope of Work

  1. Upload your own original photographic content through a secure digital platform.
  2. Systematically compare your images with AI-generated counterparts, noting differences and identifying visual flaws or artifacts.
  3. Utilize your technical vocabulary to document findings regarding image quality, lighting, composition, perspective, texture, and potential anomalies.
  4. Provide clear, concise written feedback on detected issues, ensuring accuracy in your descriptions.
  5. Participate in iterative review cycles, revisiting images and adjusting feedback based on evolving project guidelines.
  6. Collaborate through written and verbal channels for clarification, discussion, and knowledge sharing as needed.
  7. Maintain profile information to support project tracking and communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Demonstrated background in photography, digital imaging, photo editing, graphic design, or a related creative discipline.
  2. Exceptional eye for detail and a meticulous, methodical working style.
  3. Strong written English skills, with the ability to communicate findings clearly, free from spelling or grammar errors.
  4. Experience with image evaluation, annotation, or quality assurance for digital or AI-driven projects is preferred.
