The job description
About the Role
What if your deep knowledge of cancer clinical trials could directly shape how AI understands and reasons about oncology — influencing the next generation of tools used by researchers, clinicians, and regulators worldwide?
We're looking for an experienced Oncology Clinical Researcher to bring real-world expertise into cutting-edge AI development. You'll evaluate and improve how advanced AI systems handle oncology trial data, clinical insights, and regulatory science — ensuring the AI reflects the standards that actually matter in cancer research.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for oncology professionals who want to do meaningful work on their own schedule.
What You'll Do
- Review and evaluate AI-generated oncology content for clinical accuracy, regulatory alignment, and scientific validity
- Apply your expertise in clinical trial design — including protocol development, patient enrollment, and regulatory compliance — to assess how well AI captures these processes
- Analyze AI outputs related to cancer trial data, including safety profiles, efficacy endpoints, and biomarker results
- Evaluate the quality of AI-generated regulatory and scientific reporting against FDA/EMA submission standards
- Provide structured, expert feedback that directly shapes how AI models reason about real-world oncology data
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Experienced in designing and managing oncology clinical trials from protocol development through data readout
- Strong background in oncology data analysis — endpoints, safety, and biomarker interpretation
- Familiar with regulatory submission standards for agencies such as the FDA or EMA
- Detail-oriented and rigorous in applying scientific and clinical standards
- Comfortable working independently on task-based assignments
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
- Background in translational oncology, precision medicine, or immuno-oncology
- Experience contributing to peer-reviewed publications or regulatory dossiers
- Familiarity with AI tools or clinical decision support systems as an end user
Why Join Us
- Work directly on frontier AI systems being built alongside the world's leading research labs
- Influence how AI models understand, interpret, and reason about real oncology science
- Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
- Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, high-impact work
- Contribute to AI development that has the potential to accelerate cancer research at scale
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
